Cheshire a fantastic golf destination that covers a thousand square miles of varying landscapes offering golfing challenges of all types. This area of North West England sits between North Wales and Derbyshire and includes wonderful cities such as Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Chester, Stockport and Crewe offering a spectrum of accommodation with hotels of all standards whether rural or city centre. Of course the North West know how to enjoy themselves and the culinary delights and bars on offer are endless once those long days on the golf course are over.
Cheshire boasts some amazing courses from coastal delights to inland links but none get much better than Royal Liverpool links at Hoylake, currently one of just nine courses on the Open Championship rota, who first hosted the Open back in 1897 and more recently for the 12th time in 2014 where we witnessed Rory McIlroy’s impressive Open Championship victory.
