England's largest county, Yorkshire, definitely has no shortage of challenging and top class golf with 5 golf courses featured in England's Top 100 list, with unique designs to some of the countries most challenging courses. Most of the golf courses are within an easy reach of the City of Leeds, renowned for having a vibrant nightlife with bars and restaurants to suit all ages. All in all, making the area fantastic for a 3 or 4-night golf trip.
Ganton Golf Club hosted the 1949 Ryder Cup and considered the best golf course in Yorkshire however others such as Alwoodley, Moortown, Moor Allerton, Lindrick and Fulford all offer a real golfing treat.

Aldwark Manor Golf Course is a6187 yardpar-72 test of skill and accuracy. It's an easy walking parkland layout split by the meandering River Ure which is crossed by a footbridge. There are many interesting features including mature trees, water hazards and of course the River Ure.

View Yorkshire Ganton Golf ClubGanton, in the Vale of Pickering between York and Scarborough, ranks among the very best of Britain's inland courses. It has played host to many Amateur and Professional tournaments. Following the staging of the Walker Cup, the Club has also staged the Curtis Cup and the Ryder Cup.
