Le Golf National in Paris
The Albatros course is the regular host venue of the French Open on the European Tour as well as the chosen host of the 2018 Ryder Cup. The mixture of US target golf and Scottish links in a stadium style setting it has been acknowledged as one of the finest championship courses in Europe. The holes around the lakes at the turn and the closing stretch are a truly excellent risk and reward holes and will be become world famous at the Ryder Cup. A tick-box golf course.
The Eagle course is often regarded as the second course at Le Golf National and is certainly a more forgiving proposition than the Albatros. The Eagle course is shorter and is more sympathetically set up and is suitable for all golfers or an easier warm-up round before taking on the Albatros course. It is rough around the edges, and has a degree of links in its make up, but does not have the demanding hazards that make Le Golf National?s main attraction so challenging.
Located a short drive from Versailles to the west of Paris, there is accommodation on-site at the Novotel hotel and in the town centre of Versailles.
