The Penina Resort Course was constructed as an independent golf course across the road from the Penina Golf Resort Hotel. The course was formerly known as the North Course and was conceived by the late Sir Henry Cotton. The length of the golf course is 1,851 meters and it is just right for the beginner with easy to play holes and one or two interesting features. The course has plenty of bunkers and water hazards to challenge the average golfer.
An inviting lake on the Par 3 third invites beginners to go for the green with the obvious risk of falling short into the water. The fifth hole of a Par 5 of 499 metres has a generous straight fairway, long and wide, ending with the elevated green typical to all of the Penina golf courses.
