Royal Ostend Golf Club in Bruges & Ypres
The Royal Ostend golf course is over 100 years old and stretches out through the sand dunes along the Belgian coastline. It is the only true seaside links course in Belgium with many of the holes making good use of the very large dunes bordering the sea.
It is a very challenging golf course and it depends on which way the wind is blowing as to which holes will be challenging and which holes you are being helped on. The wind is always there to challenge your skill and concentration. There are many well-placed bunkers and the undulating greens are always quick and true.
The historic clubhouse has maintained its original style and has recently undergone an interior renovation. The large upstairs terrace is ideal to enjoy some post-golf refreshments whilst watching other golfers negotiate the 18th hole.
