The Solheim Cup is the top tournament when it comes to Women’s golf, this year Team Europe takes on Team USA on Gleneagles’ PGA Centenary Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This Scottish masterpiece has previously hosted the Ryder Cup, Women’s British Open and WPGA Championship making this prestigious course the perfect host for the infamous Solheim Cup.

The first-ever Solheim Cup was hosted in 1990 and saw Team USA dominate the competition. Over the years Team Europe have fought back ferociously with their most famous win coming at Loch Lomond in 2000. Despite having the home advantage, Team Europe will have to be at the top of their game to make sure Team USA does not go back to the states with two consecutive wins.
